8 GeoGuessr Pros and 8 MCSR Pros team up for two weeks of both coaching and learning GeoGuessr and Minecraft!! After two weeks, we will do two back to back tournaments:
Day 1: GeoGuessr Pros Compete in a MCSR Tournament
Day 2: MCSR Pros Compete in a GeoGuessr Tournament
I’m not sure about the geo players, but I know that most of the minecraft players will be streaming at least a little bit (not 7rowl though). If anyone know’s mk’s or Debre’s twitch accounts please reply here, though I don’t think they stream
this tourney was a ton of fun to watch, and the two weeks of training content was also a blast. it got me to spend the $5 for a month of geoguessr, and I hope it got some geo players to try out minecraft speedrunning. i hope that a season 2 or spinoffs would be possible, though since it would have to be a completely new roster that might be tough. i also hope this can inspire other tourneys to do this two-way coaching thing with other games, though i can’t think of anything that would be better than MCSR x GeoGuessr
