over the years there have been many practice maps created for various ssg seeds. unfortunately, most are hidden to the web as direct uploads in discord, mediafire links, the src resources page, or other obscure locations. this topic serves as a list and archive of as many of these maps as possible for future reference and to provide a look into the history of ssg through community map creation. there is no guarantee that these maps work, are up to date, or are suitable for use; if a primary source for modern maps is available please refer to that. lost maps are noted but still listed with their links in the hope some can be found. all discord links are to ssgcord unless otherwise specified.

future work
- datapacks and tyche configs
- almost all historical datapacks are direct links in discord which makes archiving them important but not quite as pressing as say mediafire. it makes them especially hard to link to in a non-discord context, however, which is a good reason to mirror them somewhere.
- generic maps (majority end practice in the ssg context, perhaps rsg too)
- imo these as a whole have less historical significance (minus outliers like emma’s end practice), as well as being quite a bit less centralized in the case of rsg, but perhaps someone with more domain knowledge would like to take that on.
- while this is not meant to be a curated list, descriptions or indicators of notable maps might be nice.
